In The Beginning…..

The parent organization of PF Syztems UK was founded on December 25, 1993 under the previous name “Praise Foundation” when it served many churches and religious bodies in various parts of Nigeria.

Within a short span of five years, Praise Foundation, or PF as it was popularly called, had bestrode the Nigerian audio industry like a colossus. By the end of 1998, the organization had become synonymous with excellence in the provision of audio hire services, system design and installation, as well as human resource development for professional audio.

By 2005, PF had developed capabilities for handling other segments of the Entertainment Technology (ET) industry and had initiated strong links with other like-minded professionals in the United Kingdom. The staging and trussing department had been firmly rooted and the lighting, video and multimedia departments had begun to take shape. Early in 2008, PF began to offer quality services across the entire ET spectrum when six key departments (Audio, Staging & Trussing, Lighting, Video & Multimedia, Power & Electronics, and the Directorate) were birthed with state-of-the-art facilities at the Head Office/Laboratories in Lagos, Nigeria. The UK segment was soon to follow. By May 2008, PF had developed the capability to single-handedly provide technical production services in audio, staging & trussing, lighting, video & multimedia presentation for major outdoor musical concerts, religious conventions and festivals with audiences of over 60,000 and featuring many local and international artistes in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

In August 2008, the Board approved a change of name to PF Syztems – to reflect the new dimensions of the products and services available in our organization and to further project our leadership of the ET and Conference Systems industry. With a view to developing the market for our services in other parts of the world, the Board approved the incorporation of a full-fledged and independent UK company in May 2009. Three of our initial foundation members had relocated to London and this smoothened the way for a PF Syztems –UK take off in July 2009. Operationally, PF Syztems –UK was able to establish itself with the help of our founding members who had studied at some of the foremost AV technology institutions and acquired enormous experience in the ET/Conference Systems industry. With a base in Europe, we are now able to strengthen our partnership with major brand manufacturers in the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany. This will help us to improve our service delivery to all our clients in Europe and Africa.
